We traveled to
Susan Islets from Gorge Harbor…. It was a pleasant cruise over, and down
Theodosia Inlet.
Susan Islets is a very
small anchorage suitable for about 2 boats and it’s really off of the beaten
path. We were concerned that when we got there it would be full.
But as fate would have it, there was only one
small sailboat anchored and we had plenty of room.
It brought back many funny memories of
meeting our friends David & Christine there last trip out.
It had a bit to do with having a few cocktails,
waiting until after dark and then re-anchoring our boat!
Wow, how stupid was THAT?
So, we will never do that again!
We had been anchored about an hour when we saw our friends
Marcia & John pull in. Yes, there
was room for them to anchor beside us and we were all set. They came over for dinner and Tammy fixed
dinner. YUMMM…. It was great sitting out on top of the boat just soaking up the
beautiful sights and sun. We drank some great wine and had an awesome time
catching up with new friends and long time friends. Oh yes, it’s almost a full
moon. Life is goooood!
